Stainless sink advice

We recently installed a stainless sink during our kitchen remodel - it has a sprayed insulation and sound deadening pads on it. We noticed a very strange odor when we open the cabinets below the sink - has anyone had this experience and do you think it's from the insulation spray. Thanks for any advice!

If you have PVC or CPVC plumbing, the glues can smell funky. As can silicone. Dozens of things offgas after a renivation. You just need to be sure that it's not mold from a leak under a sink.

Recommendation: a polish restored my fifty year old stainless steel sink and faucet to a brilliant-waterproof-shine; water just rolls down the drain (no more water-spots) and the shine is long-lasting. For appliances I use a spray cleaner/polish ("water based" = repels fingerprints). MAAS metal polish (for all metals) and stainless cleaner/polish can be found on the internet along with numerous reviews and endorsements. Good Housekeeping Institute test results state: "MAAS cleans best and gives lasting results..."
