My kitchen and living room are in one big great room. The nook is completely surrounded by windows, and I'm pretty sure I want to go with blinds, so they don't get in the way of people walking around the table. The living room, however, is another story. I'd love to be able to put up some curtains -- I love how much cosier they can make a room. The big issue is how awkward a couple of them are... we have a fireplace against the wall, and a small window towards the top of the wall on either side... I think I'd like to go with a floor length treatment, but would that look weird?
