Love the Barcelona chair!

Eames was, is and will be always number one!!!

I used to have the Platner club chair and ottoman.....you could easily fall asleep in those. Easiest chair ever to curl up in.

Picking the Eames chair due to function. I am supposing the height is adjustable which would fit the many people in my life with sore hips and knees that require more height in their chairs to be comfortably mobile

Folks, I think the trick word is "lounge". We cannot lounge in all but the Eames. That's how I look at it :)

I love the lounge type chairs like the Risom Lounge & the Barcelona chair. I'm always leaning back on chairs, and it's nice to not break the legs or fall off the back. -Greg

Risom lounge! Maybe not the best looking, but it looks the most comfortable.

I picked the egg chair but I do like the foot rest of the Eames chair. I preferred the colour of the former over the latter of the two of which I chose. I based my decision on comfort- back and head wise and what I would have in a lounge. The egg chair seems to offer comfort and support while looking stylish at the same time. The Eames chair is something I would pick for a library area while reading a good book.

The Eames Lounge Chair would be perfect in my living room! Toss that old wicker love seat...

The Eames "SCREAMS" Style and Comfort

While I chose the Eames Lounge, the Womb Chair is a very close second. Either would look wonderful in the new home (our first!) that we're moving into soon.

Even thought design-wise the Eames Lounge Chair will not go in my living room, comfort-wise it fits right in.

The Egg Chair by far looks like the most "lounge" worthy.

We still want a Risom lounge for the showroom. It looks like it would have a hammocky quality to it.

My mid life crisis was an Eames Lounge Chair.

I'm looking for an additional chair for my living room, and the only definite stipulation the family put on it was that it have ARMS. Without them, your own arms are left dangling, unless you fold them akimbo.

Its hard to choose from these beautiful classics. If I had to choose I would go with the Eames Lounge Chair as the wood and leather combination make this a beautiful piece to have.

Tough choice. It's a Egg-Eames-Barcelona tie. I have a dream library design incorporating a cream Barcelona chair but no chance of owning the chair let alone the library!

For comfort, a footstool is a necessity!

I almost used an Eames style "Oslo" chair and footrest in the new living room, but my husband (after much dragging around galleries) picked a more contemporary dual-recliner sofa, and we had my mom pick the remaining "guest" chair. We ended up with something no designer or pro-decorator would ever come up with: FIVE recliners in one room!

I had to pick the Platner since the others don't look like comfy knitting chairs. My favorite chair at our main home is my La-Z-Boy that's sized for short people and up north at our vacation home it's my Papasan chair.
