I think that that would work, especially since you're trying to keep the accent wall lighter. You might even want to go with a different neutral color. It would attract attention to that wall. Might I suggest a cream or off-white kind of color? I'm almost thinking that the white might be too different from the Wendy's frosty kind of color. Almost like it would grab the attention, then drop it because it was just basic white. So yes, white would be a good choice but maybe a softer, less "pop" of white. Unless that's what you're going for, if you want this to be more modern looking I would definetly do a white, but if you want it more homey and warm I would do an off-white or creamish. What room is this for? Hope this helps!

Most people regard the wall with a color the accent wall.

I think what makes this wall the "accent" is really it's shape, so it will be interesting in any color. Change the color to lighten the room, and don't worry about what you're calling it. :)

Oh that's a beautiful room! I love the high ceiling and staircase. Judging by how the furniture is more homey and welcoming, I think a more off-white cream kind of color would fit best here. Are you trying to lighten up the space? If so, a lighter color would definetly be a better option. What colors are you interested in?

Perhaps you could go with a color thats on your couch. Unless you still want to do white, I think matching the wall to accessories on a couch is a good idea. It's perfectly fine if your dont like it though.

I'd like to do a variety of salvaged windows and mirrors on this wall. Also looking for a furniture piece that has some storage, but again, from a vintage or salvage store.. The accent pieces in the room have aquas and yellow/golds. Trying to go for a somewhat farmhouse look. Thanks everyone!

Do you mean on the mirror? I will be replacing that.
