I am beginning a kitchen remodel and have pretty much decided on bamboo cabinets with a horizontal grain pattern in a light warm stain. I want a contemporary, sleek look and my husband is set on granite countertops as the focal centerpiece as the kitchen. The house has an open floor plan with kitchen, dining and living area combined and the living area is decorated with fairly neutral/warm colors and a lot of SW light and exposure. What granite styles, colors and patterns would be recommended.
