Your view is your focal point. So, consider swapping out your TV and sectional. The TV will not be as obvious if it's in front of the windows. I feel like the sectional could come over move where those decorative boxes are on the floor, you may have room for a small table then or more seating (re: maximizing) and the tv I would get a console table that is more of a piece of furniture (picturing a nice Scandinavian style piece) and hang tv on wall, even better I have done a tv in a restaurant that looks like a big framed mirror when it is off guests are always surprised to find out it is a tv.

If the TV were mounted on the wall with a chest/cabinet below (something other than a traditional media cabinet) I think you wouldn't notice the TV as much when you walk into the room. If you can use a long cabinet with lamps on either side of the TV that would help too. Maybe even something mounted above the TV like a starburst mirror. I like the idea of the sofa facing the windows but cord management will be an issue with all the TV cords.

I could I am not sure if it is obvious from the picture, but there is a doorway right next to the tv to the bedroom.

I like the idea of centering the sofa between the columns (so it's centered on the middle window) but it sounds like you don't have the option to also move the TV down??

Well it appears as though the sofa cannot center to the TV no matter what kind of cabinet you use. I would be curious to see how the room looks if you center the sofa between the columns so it's not jammed into the corner. I would also move the chaise to the other side (doesn't the cushion flip over and the base move??) and bring the occasional chair to kitchen/dining room side. I would still prefer something other than a media center. Something that doesn't shout TV STAND and something that would be useful storage. I've attached a picture of a recent job where we replaced the traditional tv stand with a cabinet. Though her particular piece is more traditional than your space.

Yes I agree that your focal point is the view! So swapping out the sofa with the TV will be the best bet and this may give you more room to bring in another chair!

Thank you everyone so much! Those are some helpful suggestions. Unfortunately, I am stuck with the couch right now. but yet, I can try moving the chaise to the other side and seeing how that works :)

Send a picture if you move the sofa around. It's hard to tell room dimensions from the photo.

Please take a pic from the chair position looking back to where you've been standing for the others. The flex chaise will be helpful, but I'm thinking the sofa can stay in the left configuration and go on the TV wall which will give you a more open feeling. I'm hoping there is a better location for the TV, but really need to see the 4th wall, even if it barely is there.

Would your couch fit widthwise across the back window - if it was placed this side of the pillar? Behind the couch you could place a console table and a light. Place single chair on left window area and tv on a shorter table placed kitty corner where the boxes are? I don't think it helps with maximizing space, but tv is not so prominent and you can now add art on the wall on the right to give some added interest.

I recommend a mirrored television. Our televisions are designed to do just with no issues of heating or ventilation. When the television is off all you see is a mirror; when you power up the television your picture is HD-Perfect, simple as that.

Have you thought about a TV lift cabinet to hide the TV? Cabinet Tronix specializes in them.

You could place your tv not on the focal point of the space. You can also choose your tv to be as a decoration or digital frame.

That view would be my focal point. Is there anyway you could find some kind of furniture piece so you can angle your tv on the pillar in the corner? Couldn't be deep or wide, that would consume too much real estate, but then your sofa could be on your now tv wall and you get the best of both worlds. TV and view.
