To me it just clutters up the cabinets, and gives you more stuff to dust. If you do want to do something, I would consider doing something very understated, that way it's not to much. Lots of people clutter up the top of cabinets with fake ivy and stuff, and it just ruins a perfectly gorgeous kitchen. I LOVE the kitchen the way it is. :-)

I agree. My preference is nothing above cabinets but this one spot I'm wondering if I should but something on wall. Here is a glimpse at an idea. I'm undecided. Nothing might be best.... Thoughts?

The negative space above the cabinets creates a beautiful sloped angle with the ceiling. Think of that as your 'decoration'. To put anything up there distracts the eye from the beauty of the angle.

Keep it as is.
