Need help updating the exterior to a house I just purchased!

Hi! I would really appreciate ANY suggestions on how to update the exterior to a home I just purchased. The Tudor design is not really my style and I am thinking about painting the house and removing those awful awnings and shutters. Any suggestions on paint colors. I would like the house to look more fresh, modern, and less dated with neutral tones. Any advice?
