The trek decking we installed yrs ago on our rather large deck and "around" a large oak tree is now lifting up! We really need a new more contemporary look, yet I cannot figure how to work around this tree, which we LOVE, and would ever tear down- even if were permitted to, which we are not. Possibly, we need to shorten the deck? it's now about 35' and 20" wide. The tree is lovely but very large. it does give us plenty of shade, and we need it here in Florida.
