Oh - beautiful color! Since this is the second floor and you already have the hard-to-keep-clean dark walnuts on the main level, I suggest a lighter finish for upstairs - maybe medium to blondish. I like it because it's airy which is appropriate for a second story. It will also bring some levity to the dark finishes on your bedroom furniture. You will have to be mindful of of the stairs as transition elements between the two floors, though.

HI -- I think a light stained maple would go nicely with your color scheme. It's like a white wash look.
