Does anyone have these Decorative UV Spitters?

Has anyone purchased the Decorative UV Spitters Misty Mountain has advertised on their web site? I have a water garden that I'd like to put them in, but I want to be sure that they actual work to clear water. Misty Mountain has them advertised with a 14-watt UV light. Can anyone testify as to how effective they are?
