Fertilizer Question

So I'll try to make this as simple as possible. I've fertilized every year so far, but with a generic Miracle grow that you attach to the hose. Its done me well and I'm okay using it again if that's suggested. But what I'm wondering is should I use different ferts on different plants. I have a lot of different stuff I'm growing and I don't want to adversly effect some plants if I don't have to. Here's what I got:

Onions

carrots

potatoes

tomatoes

squash

eggplant

cukes

hot/mild/bell peppers

broccoli

brussles sprouts

green beans

seperate bed - blueberries, herbs and fruit trees around that.

So is a generic hose spray fert going to work or should I get like a 10-10-10 pellet fert and put that down. The soil is good, just looking to get that extra little boost.

Thanks
