Help with weed ID

Its leaves are small, kind of mitten-shaped (but with two thumbs) and grow close to the ground. Tiny white flowers appear on lots of tall stems (about 10 inches above the leaves). After blooming, the tall stems produce narrow seedpods about an inch long. it has shallow, fine roots.

it's moving through my grass in south central indiana. anybody have a clue?

Perhaps bittercress? If so, pull/remove now, before it shoots its seeds everywhere.

If not, can you post a picture?
