We are installing new kitchen cabinets and will have a 2 foot by 6 foot island. We currently have electrical ceiling boxes for 2 pendants, but I am wondering whether 3 pendants would look better. We kind of like the odd number. Our electrician said he could move the existing boxes and add a third box. If a pendant was 1 foot from each end of the island, then it would be 2 feet between each pendant. We are looking at the Murray Feiss Pub pendants which have a 9 inch wide shade. Do you think that would look good, or do you think the spacing would be too close? Thanks in advance for your ideas!
