Hook it uop to the little faucet. The reverse osmosis sytem only has a small storage tank, probably 1 or 2 gallons. Once you deplete that storage tank it will take a period of time to refill. It is not instanaeous. You also have to remember for every gallon of RO water it makes, water is going straight down the drain. It might take 2 gallons of water to get one gallon of RO water. So 1 gallon goes down the drain and 1 gallon goes into your RO holding tank. Look up on the internet to see how a RO unit functions to get an understanding of what you have. functions

Merlin RO system! Somebody may have the different experience with it but I am pretty much disappointed. After much endeavor to install it, the result is; water tastes pretty bad, no one wants to drink it (out of 20 people who are meant to use it in our place). Those like me who tried it have got the stomach upset. I flushed the system before use as it is recommended but water still has bitter, chemical taste, after a week or so. System doesn't leak, so far but it is unusable. This system also wastes 5 gallons of water per every one gallon it produces, so it is pretty much a waste.

Reverse Osmosis is pure water. It's very aggressive to any metal, Most faucets are plastic lined. If you notice all valves are plastic as well as the lines that this water flows thru. Brian
