I'm no help here...I'm not sure if I'd like white or black on the door, but I love your room and was wondering where you got your chandelier? I'm in love with it.

Thank you very much for your help Misty! I imagine the black door looks great in a house with wide trim, but up against the thin white casing, not so much. Maybe I should just switch to all black windsor chairs to put some black in the room instead.

Fivefootzero - Thanks! The chandelier was from Lowes a few years back - their portfolio brand I believe. They may still have it in the stores, but I don't see it online anymore.

Anyone have ideas on paint finish?

riff3 You're welcome. I am not sure if this is in or out but you could just sew up or buy black chair cushions. That would bring the black in there unless you are up for a paint job.

I vote white and keep the finish the same as your trim.
