Help style my master bedroom

Need decorating ideas - bedding to suit my wallpaper. Have just moved and the master bedroom has this wallpaper, I am looking for decorating ideas like bed linen colours I should use, a suggestion of a pop of colour..... Anything would be helpful as I love the wallpaper and my bed but the room looks so bland......

I would add green pillows and a throw with texture snd pattern as an accent color Yes center the bed and I'd replace nightstands with black and get tall bedside table lamps. I don't feel you need any art above the bed as the wallpaper is dramatic enough on its own. I usually don't like wallpaper but I like this!

How do you feel about chartreuse? I sorta like this color combination for you.

Layering the bed gives the biggest impact and I would use mauves and greys and white sheets for an elegant look. You can use your purple coverlet, but place it at the bottom for a nicer effect. Adding a large silver mirror over the bed would be pretty and perhaps crystal lamps and a chandliere. Centre your furniture. and eventaully larger side tables would work better.

GORGEOUS!!!! I love that graphic wallpaper. I feel like when your wall is that loud, you need to go simple on the bedding. Simple and white. I'd do pretty white lamps with white shades and mirrors behind. Toss a few textures on the bed (throw pillows and a throw), in colors that match your wallpaper. Finish it off by replacing that track lighting with a small chandelier.

Sorry, I missed that you want a pop. :) How about mint? I'd still do white on the bedding, but maybe mint pillows and paint your tables mint? Mint drapes? I'd keep whatever color you do very plain. You have enough pattern with that beautiful wallpaper.

If this is the same as paper it would add a bit of color/ or white/ simplify to add bling and accessories...the neutral carpeting seems a bit to consider, and almost another direction... so is the wallpaper a bit silvery/ lilac? a chandelier then? :)

Because of the taupe/beige floor, if you'll use wood anywhere nightstands then? the mirrored nightstands are nice.

I would center everything first, consider a piece of art or a mirror or a grouping of pics and small mirrors on the wall behind the bed.
Then you meed to pick an accent color that you like, aqua, lime green, yellow, orange, red...even burgundy would all work...for things like throw pillows and a throw...even maybe the night stands! I would stick with white bedding and window treatments...something in a pin tucked satin and get crystal lamps, white shades and perhaps a small crystal chandelier over the bed...mirrored night stands would also be cool...depends on your budget! make it your own...it was a nice wall paper to have come with the room!

If you have the $$$$, I would consider getting rid of the carpet for a dark hardwood floor too!

Bad chi to have a mirror at the head or foot of your bed. very bad chi. Just sayin'

Why 99ways? Never heard of that superstition. Just wondering because I have a mirror hanging above my bed. Hmmmm.

Beautiful room, Nikki. Like all the suggestions posted.

I don't know your style, but how do you feel about some glitz, either lamps or mirrored night stands?

I also like the quilt but the shams are darker aren't they?
Those wood nightstands make a difference though. :)
And the white shades balance the dark.

I like the wallpaper. I would use a light comforter. The dark is not soothing. Would mirror chests or maybe some mercury glass work in space on lamps?

Thanks everyone! You have all given me some great ideas :) ps. The bed had been centred, the photo I loaded was one I took just after I had removed my daughters crib from my room - and it wasn't possible to have the bed centred whilst she was in the room (not enough space). :) thanks again! I love this page it's fantastic!

Idk if it's been suggested above or not. But a pop of Orange wil brighten the room..
Use orange for a few decor pieces and for two shams or cushions...
If you don't want so much orange, get items with print... Geometric prints will do..

    Keep the bed linen white...

Add with the Orange the lighter color in the wallpaper in some multicolor pillows, I think the bed is a little too dark with just the dark brown,

The quilted spread in the photo looks like a purplish grey, and the wallpaper looks more like a blue-grey on my computer. I would suggest you get a dark blue-grey spread or at least one that is two shades darker than the blue-grey in the wallpaper. I would suggest you have the pop of color in the sheets, and I believe light pink would be nice. However, if you share the room with a man, both of you might prefer a bright ocean blue that still harmonizes with the blue-grey of the wallpaper and spread. Then, use this pop of color in small doses, such as a floral arrangement, throw rugs, and bathrobes and slippers you can display on a coat rack in the room. Since you have tan wall-to-wall carpeting, I would recommend you cover most of this carpeting with a medium to dark grey area rug. Since you have a white headboard, I would suggest you keep the side tables white to match the headboard and to contrast from all the grey in the color scheme.
