Honestly, I think the main problem is that the tree on the corner blocks the view of the entry, which, having an extended roof and all, would otherwise be visible enough. Could you put a smaller shrub there? Alternatively, could you "close in" the space on the opposite corner so that it's more obvious that the entrance isn't on that side?

I'd think that if people park in your driveway, the entry would be clear enough, but I guess you're not showing the current gate. When people come, do they have to enter through the fence? Could you hang a big "welcome" sign there, to embolden them to come on through, or are there dogs running around and barking? Is there a way you could fence the back yard instead of the drive, or move the fence back behind the front door? This problem must be solveable, but a bit hard in a vacuum of information...
