I would have to try lying in them or the closest equivalent to decide for myself. The way they feel is most important to me, so I would only get one I had tried out.

Otherwise, I would pick the biggest one that would fit in the space.

Thanks for replying. I should have said that I have already climbed in the tubs :) I wanted some advice on the durability of the tubs. I am torn between the actual material of the tubs rather than the feel of them.

Which tub did you end up choosing?? What sold you on it? I just don't want to shell out crazy money on a tub and risk that the finish own't last. I realize that's asking for a lot, but I just want to know that I'm getting my money's worth.

I have a Wetstyle trough sink. I can't speak for the tubs but the sink is nice and not at all flimsy. I've been using it for 6 months. It has a nice solid feel to it and looks great. It did take about 6 weeks to get though.

@laremodel did you decide on the slab porcelain? What LA yard did you use for reasonable pricing?

It's said that cast iron will hold the heat the longest.

For my remodel I considered both Blu Bathworks and Wetstyle, and ended up getting Wetstyle because I thought it was a bit more comfortable to sit in, and the edge around the tub was slightly wider. I'm really happy with the Wetstyle tub. So that's basically personal preference, otherwise I think price, material and quality are very similar. My tub is super deep and water stays warm for a long time. It is a bit fussy to keep clean as you can see water spots on the finish unless you buff it out (my bathroom is very sunny and bright so it shows every spot and spec of dust).

I'm hoping to revive this thread as I'm going through the process- hate the feel of acrylic, but the options for composite tubs are pretty limited for my use, I need something that can fit in an alcove between 60 and 66 inches, that can also be used as a shower so needs to have a flat bottom but I'd like it to be deep enough for a good soak. Can anyone comment on what they wound up with, and the durability of the composite finish?
