First find an area rug with colors you love. The correct size for your seating would be from a foot under the sofa and loveseat out past the table about a foot- probably no smaller than 7 x 9, but I am guessing here. Once you have the area rug, find some drapes (hung above the arched window to the floor, probably 95" at least) to showcase the window without blocking the trim, as well as to add drama to your high ceilings. Pillows in your rug colors will break up the tans. Bringing in the black dining table might suggest painting your coffee table black as well.

Hmm... Do I really need to have a rug? I have a German Shepherd who sheds like crazy and would love to minimize rugs.

My inspiration is the lamps, I really love the color and think I can use touches of that color in other rooms too.

I could get a rug if it is something that would make or break the room. I was just thinking drapes, pillows and lamp would do the trick.
