While I like the picture as an independent piece, I'm not sure it fits with the rest of your decor. Your lovely chandelier is glamorous and I would put a work of art here that highlights the light. A black and white photo would be a great. The subject would be your choice (architecture like the Eiffel tower, city landscape, a beautiful door or flower). You could even do a stencil with a phrase that means something to you.

I think you could also try a black and white that have a surprising shock of color like red, orange or yellow You could add this accent color to the rest of your room.

And I agree with other posts…if you would consider something contemporary and colorful, google Kim Parker art.

Thank You everyone for your advice and great ideas. I love the painting so much that I would like to keep it in my kitchen. I think I might add a black frame to make it pop. It does definietly get lost on the wall.
