about a month into remodeling a pipe burst causing damage to most of my floors. They are replacing all the cabinets in the kitchen and most of the floor in the kitchen and laundry room. We had a pretty good plan of what we wanted and was almost done in the back room when this happened. Now that my kitchen is being replaced I was looking to see if I want to change the layout now rather than later. we're building (contractor) a 20×40 room between the back of the house and garage one half will be a bigger kitchen with our table other half playroom for the kids. where the table is now hubs and I will be making a homework desk. I was gifted many boxes of hardwood but not enough for the whole house. should I buy more for the entire area other than kitchen and bedrooms. I want to keep the kids rooms carpeted. what do you think I should do?? please excuse the mess its been a long day and I didn't want to clean.
