Its a lovely rug. I think you might need some throw pillows that match up with the rug, as the colors of the furniture are so dark. Just a quick thought. Good Luck. Hope others will come up with more.

Coffee table or interesting wood piece would reduce focus from carpet in my opinion.

Yes, bring up the color of the rug onto the sofa. Also, you need a good pad under the rug.

What they said ^^^. Then pull all of the furniture a bit further into the rug. Once you have that I suspect you will love this rug.

The rug is very large so I would put the couches on the rug. Also, bring in color with pillows on the couch and chairs. Have you thought of a nice glass coffee table? I think that would set the whole room off. Just wondering if you have drapes or not? Because you need color from another source in the room.

Ok pulled things in, put my coffee table on rug. I like it a bit better ... Not sure what pillows to buy for this. Want to pull some Aqua blue but what do you all think!??? I have the pad for rug just did not want to unwrap it yet

Yep! Nice rug. Soothing colors. Jazz it up with some darker tones of the same shade in the pillows. Pull all the furniture onto the rug about 6'inches

No drapes... We have huge windows in room that look out to our land. The rug is only 8 x 10 so I just have front of furniture on it.

I think some teal blue would look great. Nice rug!

I think you need to add she light cream color pillows on the sofa. Get rid of the dark brown pillow. It competes with the sofa. Also I'd like to suggest you sell the burgundy chair it also competes with the rug. Try a different one perhaps in an orange/cream print or even with cream/ teal if you get teal pillows.
