then don't do a blue gray, just because the trend is that doesn't mean it works for your beige and brown bathroom. maybe a country blue, a bold beige. a soft green, creamy yellow.

caland4... what colors are in the rest of your house and what colors draw you in? I'm a warm color person and, for the life of me, I can't decorate with blues. Could that be what the problem is for you? I realize your trim has the blue in it but if blue isn't working what about a soft coral? Something with more oomph and life to it. Maybe something along this line but softer tones?

I am a blue person and a rich color person, but in this bathroom, I'd do a cream from the tile and use accents in the color of the accent tile. I'd also lose that curtain.

If your home looks like autumn then you're a definite warm color person. You probably like deep rich purples as well as rusts, mahogany, coral, teals, greens. Think anything that has a sunshine element in it. Evening skies. Those kind of colors. Even though we may want to think outside the box (and boy do I ever), there are just some things we have to accept about ourselves. Though I love minor (minute) touches of blues, I can't live with them and oh, how I've tried. Grey is another huge nay nay for me. So ignore the little blue tiles and go with the soft corals in the stone with greens or mahogany to give you the oomph you're probably feeling is missing. I have a very similar color scheme in my master bathroom and really struggled to find something. I ended up with Sherwin Williams Gray Area. depending on the light, it reads green, khaki, gray, or tan. It is a really diverse color.

I would use the same beige tone that is in your tile, as it will give it a fresh/spa like feel and make the room also feel larger and use white towels to compliment your shower curtain.
