Your new rug needs to fill the sofa area so that all the front feet can be on it. I'm not feeling Tuscan in your space, except maybe for the wall treatment. I do think a round table would work, but not the style you have pictured. What are you going to do for bling and pattern? Check out the Houzz tutorial on styling shelves. I think when that is done properly you'll appreciate the little piece of space in front of the windows. Consider using a stylish semi-flush drum fixture in place of the more common fan light.

This is a good start, just need some accessories to warm up the sofas.

I feel the movement I see in the wall covering will complement the table you like. The shape is fine as the edges of the sofa are rounded....even your handles on the cabinet are as well so the table you like is a good choice. You need an infusion of another color, I'd love to see navy blue, red or green would be too predictable. I just noticed the round column.... another reason that coffee table works! that tiny bit of sky blue on the pillow is perfect, the room needs a shot of cool color....and don't be afraid to mix your metal finishes....some brass, maybe in a frame or accessories would complement the colors and using all oil rubbed bronze again is too predictable and matchy....great start.
