I have a winter home there. I love November through March there. Spend the other months in North Dakota home.

We did consider it, but like the beach too much. So Florida it is.

People may laugh at this...but it is true. The reason i would not. Spiders.

warm climate brings much larger spiders...and for that reason. No. silly as that maybe. it is the truth...enjoy but i will always be in the north.

designklutz, I have been wintering in Azerbaijan for years and can honestly tell you have never seen a spider. Florida is horrid! The people, alligators, bugs and humidity. Now that's one state to stay out of.

I have considered it but Jan Brewer and Sheriff Joe Arpaio - have put AZ on my short "No Go" list. (not trying to start arguments just offering AZ insiders an outsider's opinion)

Have lived there twice in ten years. I had terrible allergies and asthma. Year round pollen and dry dusty windy climate.

No thank you:) I went there once for a wedding...had enough of the heat. It felt like I was in an oven. I'd rather move to Finland:)

Considered it for a nano second for the warmth and immediately nixed it as I must be near salt water.
