ding ding i said blue grey. i put blue furniture with my brick fireplace and it looks great.

The first color that comes to mind for your exterior paint is Benjamin Moore HC-172 Revere Pewter

This color is a warm gray historical color and blends well with th e brick and the roof. It also works with a blue color.

Why not paint your front entrance door blue to complement the Revere Pewter AC-22 Nantucket Fog. The Nantucket Fog is the color of the sky with lots of gray in it.

guys! Am I wrong, or is revere pewter a toupe...y color? as I look at it, Im a little stumped....I am anti-toupe just like I am anti-clowns....I cant explain it, it just is.

Revere Pewter is very popular and for good reason...neutral and versatile. Definitely test it out, especially since you mentioned a brown roof. It's one option we're considering for our home. We also have some brick but our roof is gray.

i like blue that is thinking about grey, rather than grey that is thinking about blue.

no revere pewter, its not thinking about blue at all.

Wendy, I meant to ask the same question as grover...you're doing the siding and trim? Also, your roof color is making me question a gray or gray blue, but I'm not a pro. I don't think you should go too dark on the siding color.

It's not clear to me what you plan on painting, but to answer your question, the color that pops out to me is the color located on the second layer (from the top) of brick - the big one in the middle, I see a sort of plum color. I am partial to BM 'wet concrete'.

To answers some questions (and to thank you all for your opinions ) we are planning to lay rock down the front of the house and plant some lower shubery. we have been told that the large bushes made the house look " sqwatty " and the shutters were not fitting, so they are all gone. as Ive said before, Im not a fan of the browns, i am hoping to pull a blue or grey from the brick. because the windows are staying white, im thinking the trim should be white and the siding blue/grey. again, thanks all!
