First of all repair the hanging door. If you like the swirly piece of wood above the sink keep it, otherwise remove it. Change out your hardware to something you like. The ones in your inspiration photo will be very costly & they always catch on your clothing. too. Just make sure all doors & drawers have hardware. This will help you like your kitchen again. As you can afford them, buy metal pullouts for the cabinets, This will make a huge difference in accessability. Can buy them at Home Depot or Lowes. Hang some colorful curtains or roman shades on the windows

I think not if a full reno, then a small reno is needed. You could try to change the places of the fridge and stove, otherveise you could add some more table space to the counter top around the corner by the stove, so the carbitch can would be placed under the countertop/shelve. For an easy upgrade, you can buy door seperate in IKEA similar to the ones in the picture you´ve added.

You could add hooks similar and knobs on the upper cabinets or try the magnet easy open/close effect.

For more space i woul make a build in small bench under the window and add a square table and paint/or buy two chais mathing the kitchen cabinets. add pillows and a cushion in fabric you like.

And as mentioned drapped curtains are not fitted in a kitchen.

For more storrag ei would add glass cabinets high above the dining table

You can get an emplyer and designer From IKEA to help you remodle this kitvhen, which i think is the cheapest way to go.
