I am not sure what/where you mean. Have you taken out a wall? Are you gutting the room? What do you plan to do?

Unless you have another source of natural light for your kitchen, I wouldn't recommend removing the window. You could take it down a few inches so that it's no wider than your kitchen sink. I think I see what looks like a pantry now next to the wall. Consider moving your refrigerator next to it and putting the cabinet to the right of the stove so you have counter space on each side of your stove. Are there more cabinets behind your sofa or is that a half wall? If you have 24" of wall space to the right of your sink, you could start with a corner cabinet there so you don't have a cabinet running straight into the corner making it difficult to reach things.

Check out IKEA kitchen for ideas. They have designer that are willing to help you for free I would just add alot of storage (NO pantry) and kitchen hacks for the needs you have. An ireland with seating would maybe be ideal.

Separate pantry is great IF convenient to workspace and there is room. Mine has shelving plus large sink with window and second dishwasher (which is the one for everyday use). Love having a smaller uncluttered kitchen as appliances (mixer, breadmaker, crockpot, toaster, etc.) are stored in pantry.

If replacing window, casements are easier to open/close leaning across counter width.

I like a wall of pullout pantries with the fridge buil-in to that wall and that frees up the rest of the space for counters Ikea makes awesome pull out pantries I have them in my now house and Love them.If you have a long enough wall even the ovens can go there IMO removing the window will make you crazy not to be able to see outside when you are in there.There are so many amazing cabinets and and all drawers for base cabinets will increase your storage a lot .I agree if you have an Ikea near by get some ideas free.

I agree with Patricia that it's a mistake to lose the window. I'll reiterate what she said in that there are tons of available pullouts and using as many bottom drawers as possible will add to more organized storage and more space than you thought you had. Instead of spending money adding a skylight and moving plumbing, use it on pullouts and drawer bases. Of course it's your kitchen and you should do what makes you happy but I spent 26 years staring at a wall doing dishes in a kitchen with no window and it's claustrophobic. I have a window in my new house that looks out over my pool and yard and it's such a relief. Ikea is great for ideas! Good luck with your project!
