How do I "distract" from tacky bathroom tiles?

So I made a really bad design mistake. One of the bathrooms our new house just looks...ugly. I made the mistake of putting in aqua mosaic tiles, thinking it will look good like all turquoise-terracotta combos do... But the bathroom just ended up being ugly and now it's too late to have them changed, especially since the contractor is turning over the house to us soon. Is there any way to disguise the problem without spending too much?

I would see if I could order a mirror to completely cover the tile over your sink. You're going to need a mirror anyway, and this could work to have a mirror attached permanently over the tile.

The two niches could have white mosaic tiles applied on top of the blue ones since there is enough depth there to accommodate them. So sorry about your problem. The rest of the bathroom looks very nice.

I think the mirror is a good idea over the sink. I would add some coral colored accent pieces in the niches. I don't think it's ugly at all.

I think hang a beautiful mirror over the tiles..that way they are only a backdrop...an accent. I would embrace it maybe add a small piece of abstract art with same color blue in it in the room. Otherwise keep everything white...towels,rugs..etc.

Remember if you don't embrace it and love it in a year..change it out...but if done right it kinda looks cool!

Put a mirror above the sink to cover the tiles. Cover the other two niches in the same tiles that you used on the walls to give the room a cohesive appearance.

Not tacky or ugly at all! Interesting and different. I'd do a curved shower curtain hung from the ceiling to separate the shower and "stuff" that will be visible. I think a mirror above the sink should be just as interesting.
