I suggest paint the white stripes on the wall a deep red ( dull not bright ) to match the blue texture and put up white curtains with a mild design in them to match rest of room.

I love the bedding and I would add red in the way of accents too. I would not get all the pillows that go with the comforter as a Mom with 3 boys they will be on the floor most of the time

I agonized over window coverings for my son's room too. Finally opted for just a shade with crisp small valence. That may be a nice option for you with everything you have going on. The colors look great!
