It looks to me as though you could do two three-seater sofas, one on the 'TV' wall, one facing the window. A chair near the door, angled in to the sofas, with a sidetable on the window side. A big coffee table -- square? Or a smaller one pulled close enough to one sofa to be useful, and two sidetables for the other sofa. Art above both sofas. Dining area -- I'm finding it hard to estimate the size, but I like the round table idea. A buffet beneath that high window, the same width as the window. Yes to the standing lamp in the corner.

Oh, yes -- for the seating area, beeeeg rug.

Thank you! I'm starting to see how a round dining table would break up the long space...id been set on long farmhouse style.
As for sofa on "tv wall" the front door is just to the right- that's what's throwing me off so badly. I'm thinking that a more inviting impression would be 2 MCM chairs with side table between and a lamp that curves over the space from the corner.

What about trying to position chairs in front of that big window in a round configuration, and this might leave the space for the rectangular table.

I may have a misleading idea of the length of that wall, but yes, if it is too short then your idea could look really good. Your style is MCM, then?

This looks to me the kind of width your seating on that wall could occupy without it impeding the entrance flow at all.

And as I'm shortly off to bed, I wish you good luck with advice while I sleep.

I like MCM pieces, but am probably more eclectic or bohemian.
So here are my art skills... Not sure about having two credenzas or buffets or console tables- whatever they're called- in the same space... Could put settee on art wall and another chair where settee is? Also not sure on shape of coffee table. I have a funky 1950/60s set of tables that I want to use- the coffee table is narrow and rectangular.

I like both of those! (And that's not my rug- these are the listing images! I agree it's tiny and ugly...)
