Apparently I can't count. I like the last one. ( I edited my comment above). Not as much worrying about whether they work in your grey room because they aren't grey. The others you have color and pattern issues to worry about.

With the pattern of your wallpaper, I'd stay with solid colored chairs.

S mistry, the table is an espresso finish, not stark black but very black. I too was leaning toward the white.... Although I REALLY wanted someone to tell me to go with the zebra so I was happy someone did. :)

Anna Dee, I have seen that inspiration picture before and love everything about it! I was looking at very elegant chairs similar to this but they were out of my budget. Ps. Do you happen to know where the curtains are from in that picture?

I found these curtains on houzz which are similar to the trellis patterned curtains in the pic I posted above.

If you live in Canada, I've seen similar chairs available at Home Sense for a very reasonable price.

Keep your plain solid color drapes. If you want a print, the zebra would work, only I would use plain white upholstered for the side chairs & the zebra only at the head & foot of the table. No more print in the room unless you remove the wallpaper.

of course you can mix patterns!

Sometimes that's what gives a room interest.

A large solid coloured piece mixed with small and large prints with a limited colour palette looks smashing.

a few! Someone suggested that I restart new posts with new topics to get more ideas versus only have 1 thread! I did decide on the Home Depot chairs and ordered them today. We put the light fixture up today and it is beautiful, I love it! A little big for my current table but will be perfect with the new one!

They are very pretty! Do you know how high the backs are? I hope close to 38" so they come up higher than the table...tables are around 30" high so 38" really looks nice.

What is the height of the chairs you have now? That will give you a good idea how they will look visually...all your inpiration pictures have high back chairs..so just want you to be prepared for them to look short compared to the pictures you like. Maybe use them as side chairs and get 2 very high back host chairs..if they don't seem substantial enough? Just a thought

Home Interiors, the backs measure about 24 inches high (if I measured correctly? I am only measuring chair back, not down to the floor, correct?) I thought about side chairs, I can decide when the chairs get here if I like how they look all the way around or want side chairs.

You measure from floor to top of back of chair..that is the measurement they use for all of the seat back details...so if you add to that the seat height your chairs that you have know are around 40-44" high..so the chairs you ordered will be sustancially shorter.

The chairs in the above inspiration picture are much higher...around 44" I would think.

Hi, I just measured and what i have now is 39.5 inches. My new Table is 30 Inches high, what is the general rule with chair height in comparison to the table? Oh boy, I might have to cancel- I didn't look or think of height.

my current table is 30 inches and now that I am looking the HD chairs will not look significant enough by the table. One big lesson I am learning is how size is even more important then style.

Will the size be still too short as side chairs if I do tall end chairs, you think?

I actually cancelled them...I really don't want such a short chair. I will hunt again! :)

I've searched for high back in white and not many options. Hoping someone can find some! There are beige, grey, linen, etc but nothing in pure white (probably because they are harder to keep clean?). Home Decorators and Ballard Designs have custom chairs so check there if something fits within that price point and your style.
