You are very lucky to have high ceilings. They are a wonderful feature in a home but can be difficult to fill. If you're thinking about buying more furniture for the space, a good way to fill up the wall would be to get a larger entertainment unit that has shelving on either side and at the bottom to lift your T.V. up a bit. Or perhaps by simply mounting the television to the wall might be a good start.
