I was thinking of the possibly adding a page to my website where clients, mostly Interior Designers and Builders could pay for deposits and final balances online via paypal or something similar. I spend a lot of time driving across town to pick up payments and checks from clients. I actually enjoy the personal aspect of touching base but it's just not cost effective. On the other hand it will also cost me a percentage to have payments processed online. Either way it's a wash financially. I wonder more about the professionalism aspect of it. I don't want to bother if it has an amateur quality about it. But if it's something that would add value to my business or it's image I would do it. I already have the ability to accept credit card payments with my smartphone so this is an extension of that.
