Canvas choice new thread

I thought I would start a new thread the other one was getting too long, Someone had suggested to post more pics of the room. I have posted one with the new sofa and the 2 canvases I am deciding between. Which one do you think looks best with the room and any other suggestions welcome

I'm not sure that either one is right for this space, and I rather like two smaller pictures as you have now. By the way, the couch and pillows look fabulous. How large are the canvases that you're considering?

I know this is completely off-topic, but the large trash can that is all too visible from the living room is not a good look. Does it really have to be placed there?

Either would be fine, but only as long as they're large enough to hang above the sofa without looking dwarfed.

    Single tree pic comes in 48 x 32 and 60x 40
    Numerous tree pic comes in 36x 48 and 40 x 53

The smaller size of either would work fine.

I prefer the numerous trees one, but for personal reasons so to say-to me,it has more movement about it, is happier, sunnier, and reminds me of Central Coast in California, which I happen to love..

Which one you feel more connection with? What speaks to you and why? It's highly personal. Maybe you want the sunshine and color of numerous trees pic, and feeling of travel, movement through that shaded path. Maybe you'd rather "stop" and contemplate, looking at the majestic single tree..

Or maybe you'll decide that you want something else altogether:)

As for the sizes..I have a feeling it might be too big in relationship to the sofa..even the smaller size. But maybe you can do a template of the same size and try-over the sofa, or in a different space in the room..

Of the two you posted, I prefer the second one (numerous trees). I think it'll bring more life/interest to the room.

    #2 is very pretty!

I like #2 as well. I think it is more modern and suits the room better than what you have now.

I like #2. Definitely make a template over the sofa to get a feel for the size you're considering.

I failed to mention the walls are sw grasslands which is somewhat of a light sage. The pictures I posted they kind of of look gray

Does anyone have design software (not sure what its called) that can cut and paste each picture over my sofa and post?

    Thanks !

Here's a rough mock up. I realize these present much larger than the canvases you are considering, but I wanted to cover the existing prints on the wall. I like both your choices. I really love the soft, tranquil feel of the single tree, but wonder if the "weight" of the canopy of trees is a better fit for the room.

I much prefer the canvas with the multiple trees. The lone tree is merely "meh", and doesn't breathe any life into your space IMO.

I agree with TR, and also the single tree picture's colors don't go nearly as well with the couch as the allee of trees does. That one also has a great sense of depth, almost as though you could walk into the picture. It really adds life and atmosphere to the room.

I really like the 2nd picture!

I could see pulling out the rusty color as an accent.
