project management software that would work well for my firm. I found programs
like Studio Webware and Mydoma Studio a bit busy and confusing. My team and I
are extremely happy with Ivy, a cloud-based business management tool
built for interior designers. You can easily keep track
of vendors, contractors, and costumers. I often use Ivy’s “Notes” tool to make
lists, you could definitely use it to create purchasing sheets and shopping

Hello, I have looked at Designer Logic a while back as well and ended up choosing Studio Webware, now Studio Designer. I also currently use Ivy in an attempt to find the perfect fit for my company. It's really hard to make a decision between the two of them. I agree with DKapps Design that a lot of them are kind of busy and Ivy is beautiful and straight forward and now has the assets feature which I love. I love the Payscape option though from Studio Designer. Every company is constantly improving so it can make the decision hard. I do think that Studio Designer and Ivy are the best not he market but it totally depend son your business needs of course. Ivy can't handle inventory btw. Good luck!

I would definitely recommend Ivy! The interface is beautiful and easy to use, plus there's a Facebook group where I'm learning all of the secrets of the trade which is a big win for me!

Hey all, There are a couple of ways to manage client projects and I would shy away from using “project management” if you’re a design professional only. A software (SAAS) we picked-up few years ago and have been over the moon about is MyDoma Studio. It’s truly everything we could ever need in a client management, team collaboration and specification software.

Has anyone tried the 2 different Design Managers (Pro and Basic)? Just wondering for a small firm if we would be missing out going with Basic. We don't need the "Inventory" feature, but some of the other "Pro" options do look helpful. How easy is it to learn? We don't have a designated project manager, so it's us designers/office manager doing it all.

We are currently with an on line program that started out great, but I think they grew too fast- they are definitely having some growing pains which have affected me greatly - costing me time and money. Don't feel I have the patience to stick it out with them but also very hard to now take the time to transition to a new program.

Would love any feedback from other designers.

I just watched a demo webinar with Ivy and it sounds very promising! They are offering a promotional value of $500/year which is just around $42/month, are any of these similar programs free?
