I am trying to decide how to paint my new condo. I want to do a darker grey in the main room on the first floor. The stairway is along the main wall and I don't want to continue the color up stairs. Is there a way I can divide the wall, giving the impression of two spaces? I have read some ideas to add crown molding and incorporate an artificial architectural element, but I am not sure. Any thoughts?
