Hi - white cabinets with a bit of gray brushing, marble look alike quartz counters (with very little grey veining). I must pick a tile. I gravitate to traditional kitchens with dark wood. But wood tile look alike make me nervous (i) about seeing every bit of dust on tile, (ii) except for the really expensive one it doesnt look anything like wood (and 12$/foot is out of my budget) and (iii) it does abut a small door to my dining room which has a different color woof that will be stained grayish.

My other option is a gray tile but I am afraid that too light won't ground the room and all the darker gray tiles I have seen look like concrete or have zero life in them.

Any ideas or thoughts would be most welcome
