Electrical Permit KW Question

Hello everyone.

My husband and I are currently building a new home (owner-builer
and own general contractor) in New Jersey and although my building (footing/framing)
permit was approved and construction is finally underway, my electrical permit
application was returned and construction will halt once we reach the
electrical stage unless I get this electrical subsection approved soon.

The problem with the electrical application is due to having
filled out the voltage in volts
rather than KW of the appliances and
receptacles for which the permit asked information.

The NJ electrical subcode application asks to provide the
following technical site data for
the listed appliances

Qty Size Item

__ ___ KW Electric Range/Receptacle

__ ___ KW Electric Water
Heater (Using Gas)

__ ___ KW Electric
Dryer/Receptacle

__ ___ KW Dishwasher

__ ___ KW Central A/C Unit

I understand that the Qty will be 1 (or 0 in the case of
the electric water heater as I will be using a gas heater) but the other item
(size) I have no idea what how to fill out. I assume they are asking for the KW
number but even researching the appliances I will be using didn’t provide any
info on KW to help me complete the application.

For example, the technical specification for the dishwasher I
will be purchasing states:

Estimated Annual
Electricity Use:
269 kilowatt hours

Amperage: 10 amperes

Voltage: 120
volts

For the Central Air unit 2.5 Ton 30,000 BTU:

Full Load Amperage Requirement (Amps)

30

Full Load Voltage Requirement (Volts)

220

For the Range:

Element Wattage: 3300

If anyone with any previous experience with the electrical permit process has
any idea how these numbers translate to the Size KW as required for the permit,
I would be infinitely grateful for the help.

I am using 200 amp
service, 120/240V and will be using regular appliances.

Best Regards,

Indira
