put your bed under the window where the tv is now and put the tv to the angled ceiling wall. this way you see the pretty bed and not the tv first thing, plus better access to the closet. lose the tv stand and use the dresser to put it on you can have a little seating dressing area over there.

also i would loose the curtains all together, and opt for roman shades instead.

As Connie said, I recommend adding a rug, replacing the quilt with a new duvet or comforter and replacing the existing drapes with full length drapes.

Also, can you add a light fixture to the room? Swapping out the lighting will make a big difference.

I forgot to add, you need lamps on each side by your bed. They should be at least 24 inches tall but no taller than your headboard. Mercury glass would add some bling and can be purchased inexpensively at Home Goods,TJ Max, etc.
A chandelier overhead would really add elegance. Search in an antique mall for a used one. If it has crystals you can remove them and spray paint if needed then rehook the hanging crystals.
