Wattyl Flurry might be worth a look. Cream colours on a colour swatch will look much whiter outside, but if still too cream looking, go with 1/4 or 1/2 strengths.

We have a manor roof/gutters too with 'Dune' fascias and 'basalt' render. Our windows are currently mission brown, but we're going to paint them 'Dune' aswell. I think Dune would great as a render. It is a stone grey but not a cream stone. I also hate cream too, but it works with our roof/gutters. Good luck. I know I went crazy trying to find matches for our house too! It helps to look at a colour wheel and find out what each colours base colour is =)

Look at a colour wheel. think adjacent, or think paled down tones OR opposites which are calmed down with a bit of the manor red mixed in. . If I get to buy the house I want, it is ugly as sin, heritage, with a red tile roof so I will be facing your problem too whilst getting accepted by heritage control.

I would consider a warm dark muted blue for your house, and strip the door to timber colour. Haymes has traditional paint colours which work.. so you can see.

Definitely lose the screen door and sidelight screen. I can see a black door in satin finish working well, (don't use gloss, it shows up every imperfection on the door) with gutters painted black to provide punch. Replace those floodlights with some snappy black outdoor lights and add black pots with statement plants to tie the look together. You may not need to touch the stone coloured render at all. (Also do paint the white fence posts to match the rest of the picket fence)

This is what I am up to so far. Still choosing a paint colour. Windows are white on white by Dulux and the security door is now satin black. Thinking of slate grey perhaps?

Hi Alicia, that already looks much better! Painting the security screens to match the black door is a good idea. I still think black gutters will pull the look together at a minimal cost. I personally like the warmth of the stone render with the red roof and black accents; the pale grey render may look too washed out against the white windows.

Whatever colour you pick don't forget to repaint plant pot.

Yes I agree Oskuee, the darker grey render looks better. There are also taupe coloured renders available in different shades: taupe is a cross between grey and beige, so still has warmth.
I'm also in the throes of accenting my red brick, terracotta tiled house (replete with sunburst red pavers!) and rich cream wooden Windows and verandah beams with black to freshen the street appeal, so I feel your pain, Alicia!

I personally like the darker grey whereas my teen son and husband like the lighter grey. I will be replacing the pot with a charcoal coloured pot.
Maybe I could just use all of the sample pots I have bought over the past few months and start a trend in patchwork homes?

I like the darker greys in your photo, but would it be too dark with black door? I quite like this colour scheme below, which I think would also work with black accents... (screen shot of houzz photo)

Make sure you use a warm grey - the one you have painted looks a little too blue/cold. Some grey colour schemes to go with your red roof - as seen on the dulux website.

I will look for a warm grey. I love that picture...the house looks lovely. I worry that by going too dark it may attract the heat and in summer in Sydney's west it gets VERY hot.

I think Vanessa Mae is nice colour and it always looks much lighter outside, don't be afraid.

Light grey will not look good as will clash with roof. What colour were you're front doors originally ? Light grey? Whatever black looks great I would not change render colour

We have just ordered a manor red American barn style shed with basalt grey roof and trims. Trying to find a colour that will look nice for outdoor furniture, climbing plants etc that will contrast with all that red. I like the idea of black window and door frames
