Yes! NYC apartments have kitchens that fit in half that space (with a fridge)! You might need to consider downsized units, such as a dishwasher that fits under the sink, or a slimmer range. Did not want to incur cost of removing a wall. Will not need the space for eating, only cooking as small apt for a single person or couple or a short term rental unit and a dishwasher is not needed.
