I am guessing this may not be a problem, but since I am paranoid about electricity I thought I would pose my question here. Just getting ready to leave the house. Had put the garage door up and was getting ready to drive out of the garage when the light bulb in the garage door opener exploded all over the car. I have had light bulbs die before of course, but never had one explode. Shards of bulb all over. I replaced the bulb and all seems well but is this explosion a sign of a problem or do bulbs sometimes expire in this fashion?? Thanks for any info.
