This is a multiple post and IMO without an actual detailed floor plan is going to get many answers none of which will be perfect

My kitchen is not too large - though bigger than some so I will try for some general tips. It makes for good flow if you have fridge, sink and range in that order within a workable walking distance. Sometimes the order needs to be changed up to accommodate other things - but you want those three reasonably close. The area between the sink and the stove is good for prep but also an island which is reasonably close to both. I do not think you will have room for an island - so a peninsula would work. With two cooks you want plenty of room to get by each other - another point for peninsula over island. I have about 42 inches between my small island and my sink and it works for one cook and is not a problem when my daughter helps - fortunately we are on the small side. If you want an island, see if you have 42 inches all the way around for one placed more central to the kitchen.

For the best venting of the range either keep it where it is if there is a vent now, or move it to an outside wall where is will be easy to vent. The sink could either look out the window or be on the peninsula to look at a TV or something interesting in the house.

You probably would benefit from talking to a kitchen designer to pull everything together. Table and lights should match your taste and style, though you do need to be sure you have good task lighting in the kitchen. Under cabinet lighting is especially helpful - especially in that area between sink and stovetop / range where so much prep takes place.

If you are willing to give up a little counter space, a prep sink is handy for two cooks. One way to keep cost down is to not move electrical / gas or plumbing. So if sink and range are in places that work for you now, consider keeping them in the same area.
