How big is it? Why not keep it in the remodel? Just leave enough space to be able to replace it.

I'd keep it. That was top of the line single oven model. Beautiful and well-cared for.

Gee 60 years of good use and you want to kick it to the curb...

I just googled the house I grew up in and discovered it had recently sold and there were lots of nice interior shots of it online. I was amazed to see that the built-in oven (like yours, only stainless steel) and matching built-in stove top were still in use after 62 years. They don't make 'em like that anymore! I hope you didn't decide to replace your oven. You're just buying problems with new appliances.

Hard to fathom the longevity of appliances back in the day. We pay more and get less. How lucky we are ;-)
