Pics Jim if you can..Could be anything from bugs to improper lighting or watering...

Or an immature tree; or too much Nitrogen during the bloom

Mike, it's definitely not bugs. It could be improper lighting... But what do you mean watering-as in too much watering or too little? Because I water thoroughly about every 2 weeks. And John, too much nitrogen results in flowers/buds falling off? strange... But I haven't fertilized my tree once yet since I ordered it a couple of months ago...

Please post a photo of your tree so that we can see what is going on. Right now we are only making (educated) guesses.

    James,

A Meyer lemon is a unique plant; if you give a Meyer too much Nitrogen when it is blooming, it will drop all the flowers and make more leaves

here are some pictures, not including all the buds/flowers/leaves that already fell off...

    Is it dropping leaves?

It looks pretty good to me; so don't stress.

Ok, if you are dropping flower pedals, leaves, buds and or partially opened flowers, it is usually a sign of thrips, mite, improper watering, or a lack of sunlight..

Which one do you think it might be? Are you checking and providing all the needs of your tree?

That's a lot of flower buds for such a small tree, it may be dropping the ones it cannot support. I have a good sized dwarf lemon and it has been producing tons of fruit, but it still dropped some of the immature fruit at the beginning of the season, mostly where there were already a couple of fruits developing.

First thing you will need to do is empty the pan after watering. Do not let the tree sit in water. What are those stains on the leaves?

The problem is definitely not bugs or anything. It's probably the lighting, but also may be the watering-I do let the soil dry before thoroughly watering. And Tim, the stains are just pesticide residue from when I ordered it. And mike, I haven't yet fertilized my plant so that might be the issue... I recently just purchased Dyna Gro Foliage Pro and I'm going to implement it into my next watering.... ps vlad, yes it is dropping many leaves.

HI I am new here, I have a similar issue. My new citrus tree is dropping the flowers but I thought it was normal. I will post a pictures in the morning. My issue is the light since I have no sun so I am using a lamp to provide light but maybe is too many hours. I will make some changes tomorrow. Just wanted to thank you all also have some I am growing from seeds and for some reason they stopped growing any suggestions? Should I repot them? I have 8 only about 6 cm tall.
