Has anyone done this? I have two seeded glass Kichler Everly pendants on order, but was told by an electrician today it will be very pricey to drill holes for junction boxes for two new pendants, then I will need to hire a drywall repair person to fix up the holes from the old fixture and any from the junction installation.

I really want a glass light fixture over the island to keep the room light. Perhaps just find another island light if its less trouble?
