My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Quonset hut construction help.

plan on building a 30x40x20h quonset vacation home in NC, on 10 ft piers and modify the arched roof. desired plans are to have over hangs on each long side, structure ribs 8' on center (vs 2'). i saw pictures of this done, but no information on details, specs, design or what mods will do to the integral strength of QH (they are rated for 170mph wind.) any direction or help will be appreciated, however critics ignored. thanks!

    thanks apple- not yet. in the design process, interior designer, self built a straw bale home in upstate NY and been at this rodeo before- lol. call me cheap but laying out $$$$ for info i assumed to be available for $0 is my 1st step. fast reaching the point of biting that bullet tho.
