It's up to you, do you want a larger, now open kitchen? If so, go for it. I didn't vote as I'm one of the very few who doesn't want an open floor plan.

I have a galley kitchen that is open on one side to the family room. Having the one side open allows me to interact with company and gives the illusion of a much larger space.
